What a swell murder mystery game this was! Great characters and a thoroughly entertaining script. We had lots of fun attempting the accents (with varying degrees of success). As usual with a Maple Mystery Games, instructions were easy to follow and the outcome was well crafted into the dialogue. Unlike many such games, the clues are there to spot the murderer (even though I didn’t). Absolutely spiffing fun.

I got the 1920s speakeasy as a surprise for my sister’s birthday party. She loves the historical times especially the 1900s. I had her and our friends dress up and used the suggested decorations for the party. To say we had a blast would be an understatement! The entire group enjoyed solving the murder mystery. It was one of the liveliest parties we attended since the pandemic. I recommend this game to any murder mystery fan!

This was absolutely brilliant. We did it over Skype with 4 different bubbles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, although at times we didn’t have any idea of what was going on especially when certain parties ad-libbed. I would recommend this mystery to anyone.

A brilliant evening had by my whole family to celebrate my mum’s 70th. We enjoyed dressing up and trying to work out who the murderer was! The script is easy to follow and there are so many suggestions and ideas to make the evening really fun and to be able to get into character. Would definitely recommend it

Honestly it was the most fun I’ve had in lockdown! Did it for two of my friends birthday over zoom everyone dressed like the characters thanks to the information provided! We also made gift bags and dropped them to everyone’s houses with all the scripts etc in! The best part is I was the host and I even didn’t know until the big reveal! Defo will do again!

What a great way to spend an evening with friends from across the UK and even as far as Canada! The game was fun to play but was made better by being with good friends so we all felt completely relaxed. Everyone had a costume and moonshine and doing the accents was hilarious! Thank you for cheering up a lockdown weekend!

We just had our Murderer mystery, it was one of the most fun our little dinner club has had and we always have fun getting together. The game package gives you all the tools and ideas to create a super awesome game! We had a little trouble getting started on who goes first. But that just could be operator error, once we got into the groove, we all Really got into our characters, I have seen a side of my friends I haven’t seen and the usually quiet ones was the most involved. I highly recommend you try this one in particular and yes, we will do another one! Thanks Jan for all your help!
Note from Maple Mystery Games: since the lady bought the party, we have updated both the Host Instructions and the instructions in the Party Booklets so that everything is a lot clearer.

So much fun!
We weren’t quite sure how it’d work over Zoom but Maple Mystery Games made it super easy and simple!
Everyone got really into their characters and it was a nice novelty to be able to get dressed up during this lockdown! Thank you for providing a lovely evening of entertainment, would highly recommend!

Just finished celebrating my 60th birthday. Was so fabulous to share the occasion with a Zoom virtual maple mystery. You saved my birthday celebrations!
Even though many of my friends spend all day in Zoom or similar meetings they so enjoyed this social time. I could join in fully and be part of the experience.
Well written, good clues, plenty of additional decorations and support.
Will certainly recommend and hope to purchase more in the future.
Only sorry I took no photos.
Thank you.

Another great evening. We have done two murder mystery nights in a two week period as we enjoyed the first one so much. The 1920’s speakeasy didn’t disappoint either. Thank you.
