Tash says: "This was our fourth Murder Mystery from Maple Mystery Games, and once again, it did not disappoint! The game was an absolute blast from start to finish. As always, the excitement of dressing up and diving into our characters was a highlight, and the timing was perfect with all our Christmas decorations adding to the festive ambiance.

One of our favorite touches this time was wrapping up mini shooter bottles as prizes for anyone who guessed the murderer correctly. The twist? None of us managed to solve the caseā€”so everyone got a shooter anyway!

We also spiced things up with a police-themed backdrop for suspect mugshots and even had everyone take fingerprints, which added an extra layer of hilarity and immersion to the evening. For food, we kept it simple with snack platters, letting the game (and our accusations) take center stage."

1 Festive Costumes

We love how Tash created letterboards for each suspect together with a police mugshot backdrop.

Jinxy - as befits one of Santa's magical family, he was captured blowing 'magical' smoke from his mouth:

Mrs Claus - very glam outfit as befits a former model:

Magician Tinsel - bowtie and tinsel covered wand and hat are nice touches:

Elfie - fab elf ears and hat:

Apprentice Holly - matching hair ties and skirt:

Scrooge - the hated Head of Productivity and Accountability, seen here in suitably corporate attire:

Mrs Claus and Bear: - as Bear was ill on the night, Scrooge played two roles and "nailed" both:

Naughty and Nice List in a "Spell Book" - Tash came up with the wonderful idea of taking an ancient book with faded paper and turning it into a page from a "spell book" with great olde-worlde calligraphy and sketches. Each character's name started off on either the Nice List or the Naughty List - as the evening wore on, those on the Nice List found their names crossed out!

Fingerprints - each suspect had to submit their fingerprints onto file!

Superb Hand-Drawn Signs:

Tash's verdict: "Thank you, Maple Mystery Games, for another amazing night of intrigue, laughter, and fun. We cannot wait to try out our next mystery adventure! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and engaging party experience!"
