Great fun! We played via Zoom with our family. It was a first for us and we found the instructions easy to follow. The pre-party packs were helpful for everyone to familiarise themselves with their characters. The scripts were easy to follow and all of the instructions and downloads were easy to organise. We bought the 8-10 player pack and had 10 players. In hindsight, I wish we’d gone for the 10-12 player set so that all 10 players would’ve had full scripts (the two who were “optional” characters didn’t feel as involved as they would’ve liked and found it hard to interject but we’ve learned from experience and would do things differently next time). Overall, we all had a good fun night and we all said we’d love to do it again.

We had a great night for our 60s virtual mystery party. The instructions, pre-party booklets and party booklets were simple to follow and well planned. Our group struggled a little with the optional chime-ins in places so we did end up going a little off script. Personally I preferred the nineties party we’d done a few weeks prior. Nonetheless, makes a great change to lockdown quizzes and would definitely buy again when more parties are released!

We did this over Zoom and it was amazing – the only issue was trying not to break character and laugh! The instructions and tips are very thorough, we’ve already talked about doing another one.

Great fun. We did the murder mystery with family and over zoom everyone really enjoyed it. All the characters were fab. From 11 – 78 years old.

This was a great laugh! We did with 12 friends over Zoom after being fed up with quizzes. It was easy enough to follow and the storyline was funny. My only small gripe was that there was a lot of PDFs to download and sift through as the host. My old laptop just about handled all of the downloads. Will definitely look to do another one when lockdown is over and we can meet up with friends in person.
Note from Maple Mystery Games: we have now clearly marked the two optional downloads (the decorations and menu & place cards). We have also clearly marked the few optional files within the zips.

A fantastic evening! I had the 60s virtual party for my birthday and it was absolutely brilliant. The instructions are all so clear, I had a lot of fun allocating the characters as well as seeing my friends bring them to life. I highly recommend this!

This a brilliant way to spend a fun evening with friends during lockdown. It worked really well on a zoom call with 8 of us. Got into the spirit of it and all dressed up. The scripts work well but inevitably the longer it goes the more the ad-libbing, the more laughs we had. I’ve done both of the lockdown ones now with different groups and they are highly recommended.

I would thoroughly recommend this game, lots of fun, well thought through. Worked well over Zoom and in lockdown, mixed adult age group. Everyone got dressed up and embraced their roles which matched well to personalities.

We played this game during lockdown over Zoom and it was fantastic! We were well equipped with the booklets provided and the story was easy to follow with some really funny characters, we had a brilliant night! Would recommend to anyone looking to lift their spirits and do something different with friends in lockdown!
