Stacy says: "When guests walked down the sidewalk to the door, I had the protest signs attached to poles and stuck in the ground along the sidewalk.
We also had a secret word and guests were not allowed in without the secret password!
When guests came inside, the first thing they saw was the dead body outline!"
Stacy made very elegant use of the gold and black color scheme associated with the 1920s:
This color scheme was continued with the black and gold tablescape. This cleverly mixed the elegance of the feather centerpiece with a shot roulette wheel and gambling "money".
Even the moonshine crates had an elegant gold and black backdrop:
All the guests dressed up 1920s-style. The ladies playing flappers opted for elegant flapper costumes with headdresses and pearls. Thsoe playing male characters opted for false mustaches and Trilby hats.
We had three large juice dispensers of drinks. They included
I had signs hanging in each dispenser with list of ingredients.
Stacy's verdict:
"I have done several murder mysteries, and this one was very good. It was easy to follow for everybody. There are several things I look for when I choose a murder mystery, and this one had them all. I like that the victim was not a person who was one of the characters, so everyone got to play the entire game. It came with lots of food, ideas, party decoration, ideas, and printable decorations,. The characters were fun to dress up as and act out. The lines were easy to follow, and best of all, the murderer was not too obvious so it resulted in fun discussions (and arguments lol) before the reveal! We absolutely loved that there was an audio file to play the reveal!"
