Story and Characters for this Totally Rad 90s Murder Mystery Game
Yo! It’s back in the day of the Naughty Nineties when New Age was da bomb, wannabes were stylin' and the world was predicted to end on December 31st 1999.
It's the investigative wake for Lord William Worthalot-Worthy.
His wife obviously loved him - and his mistress did too!
His business partner declares their hotel is "totally respectable". How could anyone think otherwise?
And The Save Our Sinners Foundation is just concerned with preventing the world from ending on December 31st 1999. Hallelujah, Praise The Lord! They cannot be a cult.
But at Worthalot Manor, Junior is about to expose some secrets ...
Instant download lets you host a Manor House and 90s murder mystery party your friends will remember.
So dig out your leggings, hunt out your scrunchies and bandanas, find your grunge and your sexy schoolgirl tartans. If those toffs at the manor want to criticise your style, they can Talk to the Hand. Whatever!
This RAD 90s murder mystery party has a dope mix of wannabes and celebrities, with an end-of-the-world cult and a New Age Psychic
not to mention
those snooty Manor House types, Lady This and Lady That, with their rebellious "servants" and a PI with a liking for grunge (and other things).

This was a great concept and it was really well written with speedy customer service!
I am not the most tech savvy but I managed it. We all dressed up and made an effort to look ‘90s.
We did all feel that it could have been more 90s themed though, it was too Lord and Lady for what we were hoping for from a 90s theme.
We had a good night and I was surprised how well it played out virtually. It was our first murder mystery virtually but won’t be our last.

As a group, we have been doing murder mysteries for over 20 years. This is the first virtual murder we have done and all agreed that it worked very well. We still had the fun experience of figuring out our costumes and getting into our roles. Even better, we skipped the cooking and supported our local restaurants with take-out meals. The plot of the murder was fun and engaging. A great evening with friends.

We played Murder in the Naughty 90s with 10 people as our virtual Christmas party via Zoom. Everyone made an effort to dress the part and it wasn’t too long before we were really getting to character!
We didn’t do the pre party due to lack of time but didn’t need to do this as we were virtual.
Pro tip – if you’re on Zoom change your screen name to your character name!
Everything was laid out really well and instructions were clear to follow. We were unsure how it was going to play out at first but it all fell into place.
Really recommend Maple Mystery Games if you want a virtual get together!
Claire BADGER –
Absolutely brilliant; we had so much fun doing this, would recommend.
Carolyn Ruffles –
What a fantastic murder mystery – definitely the best I’ve ever played. We had a hilarious night hamming up the characters and following the very well-written script. Everything was very well thought out and easy to follow. This is a great way of spending a virtual evening with family and friends and I would highly recommend it.

Hosted via Microsoft Teams for my friend’s 50th birthday. A lot of laughs and a lovely way to spend virtual time together. The whole thing took 2 1/2 hours – there was quite a bit of ad lib’ing! Everyone really enjoyed it and got into the spirit – the farmer’s poetry was very inspiring!
Whilst decorations were a bit superfluous (via video) the dressing-up was first rate!
A brilliant way to spend a Saturday evening – we would definitely do it again and hope to do a party ‘in person’ in the near future (Covid allowing)!

Amazing! We were unsure how this would work over Zoom but it turned out great!
Would definitely recommend and will be buying more.
Saved us during lockdown!
Thank you to Jan for being so amazing when I when I was stressing out before the party!
You guys are awesome.
Thank you

The game was a lot of fun. It was a first Murder Mystery for all attendees, and virtual no less. The script was fun, and clear and easy to follow. Would definitely do again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Murder Mystery evening. These are difficult times and we laughed so much. What can be better than that ? The mystery was so well done . Thank You! We are already planning to do another one for New Year either face to face or via Zoom. Something to look forward to!

Fantastic night over Zoom. Everyone dressed the part and so easy to run.
Each player supplied an easy script to follow.
Already bought a second one to run and hope for many more to be released.
